My passion is to provide the most efficient and effective county government
possible to best serve our citizens. Pima County must have:
- A government that is transparent and open;
- A government where business will prosper in a knowledge-based global economy;
- A government where taxes are low and roads are in place;
- A government that is committed to a regional strategy to meet our challenges and
solve our problems;
- A government that recognizes that our economy and a sustainable environment are
binding and inseparable;
- A government that listens and works collaboratively to meet the needs of our
citizens in the best way;
- A government that is committed to livability and our quality of life.
Pima County’s future is emerging. I see my job as Supervisor as engaging
citizens, community leaders and elected officials, to build trust and build
bridges towards the common goal of creating a great community for people to
live, work and play.
